Eastern Hill v Seymour
Eastern Hill resumed at 0/17 and after 28 overs was 4/105.
They then went on a run spree in the next 16 overs and scored 160 runs, which included two partnership fifth wicket partnership of 62 off 86 balls between Dean Fulco and Matthew O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan made 37 off 39 balls.
A sixth wicket partnership of 98 off 170 balls was scored between Fulco and Brown. Eastern Hill declared for 5-265 after 54 overs. Dean Fulco made a patient 84 not out in 138 mins for 138 balls. Michael Brown made a quick 56 from 43 balls. Seymour in the second innings was 6/87 with Dean Fulco taking 4/15.
Avenel v Nagambie
Avenel found the going tough all day against the Nagambie attack. The team could not develop batting partnerships and was dismissed for 129. Jack Hesse top scored with 52 not out and Kasey Duncan made 25.
Mark Nolan completed a fine double with a century last week and with ball taking 7/40 off 25 overs. Kyle Winter-Irving took 2/45. Nagambie’s second innings was at stumps 5/753 with Kyle Winter-Irving at 34.
Broadford v Alexandra
Broadford resumed at 0/2 and was in trouble at 4/62. The next two wickets added 126 runs to finish with 6/199. Captain Liam Collier batted well for 97 and received support from Evan Mills on 55 and Mitchell Collier on 22 not out. The bowling honours for Alexandra was shared with J. Kidd 2/42 and X. Hamill on 2/46.
Tallarook v Kilmore
On a good wicket, Tallarook batted all day and was dismissed for 182 off 73. Two overs, no batting details available. R Frost was 4/38 and Luke Brennan on 2/36 did the damage with the ball for Kilmore.
