The winning run is over, but Seymour’s A-grade netball side put in one of its best performances of the season at Kings Park on Saturday.

The Lions went down 44-41 to Shepparton United in a see-saw struggle.

Seymour was missing key VNL players in shooter Kath Knott and defender Bec Kelly to injury but fought bravely against one of the league’s traditional powerhouses.
