Jamie Pryor and Sophie Baker will be the Seymour College captains for 2013.

The pair were elected last week.

Writing in the school newsletter, executive principal Tim McCartin said he congratulated ‘‘both these fine young people who will do a great job, I am sure’’.

‘‘A very special thank you to the other very worthy candidates who put their hands up to run in this ballot; every student who nominated would have made a very fine captain and we are fortunate to have such a pool of talent.’’
