Seymour College art exhibition shines

Plenty of people look at some of the best art and technology work from students.

The recent Seymour College art exhibition.

The first-ever combined P-12 Seymour College arts and technology exhibition was well attended last week.

Seymour Community Arts Centre was filled with student work in pottery, photography, sculpture, textiles, wood, metal, collage, mosaic, drawing and painting.

Studio arts and design technology folios were on display along with delightful and skilful works by the more junior students. Open to the public from 6pm to 8pm, the balmy evening attracted a large number of viewers who enjoyed the door prizes and refreshments as well as the art on display.

We are now looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year. Congratulations to all students.
