It might not seem ideal preparation for what is shaping up as one of the most even GVNL finals series in years, but Seymour’s A-grade netball coach wasn’t too worried about his side’s 49-46 loss at Benalla on Saturday.
After a solid start by the Lions, the Saints edged ahead in the second term and managed to keep its nose in front for the rest of the game. At times the lead was out to six goals, but Seymour finished hard and with the ball in its hands as the final whistle blew.
