Lakers share lead after beating Redlegs

Good form continues for Nagambie senior football side.

The Nagambie senior football side showed it does have depth to spare as it overcame the loss of seven players to take a share of the lead on the KDFL ladder.

The Lakers beat a game Tallygaroopna by 35 points on a ground in surprisingly reasonable condition despite the rain. It was also a game where the scoreboard didn’t always indicate what was really happening.

Nagambie made the most of its chances in the first quarter and opened up a five-goal lead despite having only marginally more scoring shots. It then survived what coach Linc Sullivan called a ‘‘really bad’’ second term to come out and dominate the third quarter — something that it has done before during this season.
