Kings Park vandalised by hoons

A disappointing outcome after much voluntary hard work.

The result of the vandalism at Kings Park.

Kings Park these days is undoubtedly the premier winter sports ground in the Goulburn Valley, as well as a facility the entire community can enjoy — so it was doubly disappointing last week to see what some idiots had done.

Sometime after 4.30pm on Wednesday and before the next morning, these tracks were made on the ground between the two ovals. They turned to mud a year of hard work in getting the area looking a picture.

Kings Park committee of management chairman Bill Rucker expressed his frustration.

‘‘We’re all volunteers who work very hard to make the park a useful and pleasurable place for the Seymour community,’’ he said.

‘‘It’s really disappointing when people show this level of disrespect.’’
