North Melbourne star Jack Ziebell didn't let a game get too much in the way of his grandmother's birthday celebrations in Seymour...
Not everyone gets a guest like this for their 80th birthday but then again the pleasure was all North Melbourne vice-captain Jack Ziebell’s on Saturday.
The 22-year-old might have had a practice game for the Kangaroos against Hawthorn at Craigieburn but he made sure he got to Seymour later on for his grandmother Fay’s birthday.
They are pictured here with Jack’s great aunt (and Fay’s sister) Marie Juers (left).
Others to join in the weekend celebrations were members of the Ziebell, Sutton, Juers and Spencer families from overseas, interstate and from Melbourne and regional centres.
