It might have been little more than a training run, but there was plenty to like about the Seymour A-grade netball side’s 78-10 win over Tatura on Saturday.

The Lions seized the game by the throat early and never let go in a consistent four-quarter performance — quarters of 19-3, 16-3, 24-2 and 19-2 were testament to that.

A win might have been expected over one of the competition strugglers, but it also showed how far this Lions side has come in a year.
