Edwards Dance Studio members and teacher Annalise Strongman with their trophy haul from the recent Bendigo Eisteddfod - Chantelle Tate, Alisha Tate, Jacinta Robinson, Lauren Washington, Sarah Johnson, Emily Whitford, Monique Purchase, Tess Davey, Maria Robinson, Emily Chapman, Chantelle Washington, Keely Wright, Hayley Chapman, Georgia Gardner, Caragh Seheid and Abbey Baker.
Members of Edwards Dance Studio in Seymour recently had success at the annual Bendigo eisteddfod. Some of the results were as follows:
Under-13 voiceover troupe — two firsts.
Under-17 voice over vocal troupe — one first, one second.
Under-17 jazz troupe — one second, one third.
Open-age jazz troupe — one third.
Lauren Washington — seven firsts, one second, one third and one encouragement award for duos with Chantelle Tate, one second and one third for duo with Abbey Baker, one third for jazz troupe, the 12 and under 14 Theatrical Aggregate for 2013, perpetual trophy for first place in song and tap solo, one first and one second for solo items.
Chantelle Washington — three firsts for duos with Maria Robinson, two firsts for voice over troupe.
Jacinta Robinson — two honourable mentions (jazz solos).
Maria Robinson — one first, (jazz solo), two thirds (jazz solo, neo solo), one encouragement award (neo solo), three firsts for duos with Chantelle Washington (two song and tap duo, one jazz duo).
Abbey Baker — two firsts, one second, one third, one honourable mention.
Chantelle Tate — seven firsts, one second, one third and one encouragement award for duos with Lauren Washington, three honourable mentions.
Tess Davey — two firsts with Shake Your Tail Feather troupe, one first (Aladdin jazz solo), one second (Aladdin jazz solo), one honourable mention (neo classical solo).
Caragh Seheid — one honourable mention (voice over vocal).
Georgia Gardner — first, second and third for solos and troupe, 12 and under 14 Novice Aggregate, second and third for duos with Hayley Chapman and Georgia Gardner.
Hayley Chapman — first and second for song and dance duo with Georgia Gardner, encouragement award for song and tap solo.
