Seymour fire brigade members demonstrate how to tackle a grass fire.

Whether it was Danielle Rickman-White, 5, of Seymour getting to sit in a fire truck, the Seymour fire brigade demonstrating how to combat a grass fire or kids enjoying themselves at Nagambie, plenty of people turned out around the region to get a close rlook at their local fire brigades on Sunday. And those who were there just after 1pm got a taste of the real thing too, as brigades from around the region were called to a grass fire at Mangalore.
