Another game, another win for Avenel

Swans A-grade netball side continues on its winning way.

Avenel’s A-grade netball side kept that winning feeling going in thrashing Undera 71-21 on Saturday, but a much harder task awaits.

The Swans were hardly out of first gear against the Lions, with midcourters Joss Roche and Paige Hockley leading the way.

Roche feeding into shooters Tegan Sidebottom and Niki Lord was a highlight and they shot brilliantly.

But it was a team effort, and the margin allowed Avenel to try a few things.

‘‘Those were things we’ve been working on in training to see if they worked in a game,’’ coach Anita Lynch said.
