60 years of celebration for Sugarloaf Creek couple
Alan and Esme Bidstrup celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in fine style.
By Chalpat SontiDecember 3 saw a very enjoyable gathering of more than 90 family and friends at Como House, South Yarra, to celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of Alan and Esme Bidstrup of ‘‘Annadale’’, Sugarloaf Creek.
Included in the celebrations were the surviving members of the original wedding party.
Pictured far left are Mrs Bidstrup’s sister, Lois Jackson (bridesmaid), Mr and Mrs Bidstrup, Roy Bett (best man), Mr Bidstrup’s sister Nancy Bidstrup (bridesmaid) and nieces Lynette Bucknall (flower girl), and Elizabeth Hurst (train bearer).
Mr and Mrs Bidstrup had four sons and have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
