Windridge Oval vandal sought

Rochester police are seeking information in the hunt for a driver who damaged the surface of the playing field on the weekend.

Rochester police are appealing for anyone that can help find a hoon driver who damaged the Windridge Oval on Friday night.

Senior Constable Shane Roberts said it appeared someone drove onto the oval resulting in damage to the grass surface.

He said the incident occurred between 6pm on Friday to 9.30am on Saturday.

Anyone with information can call Rochester Police on 5484 1100.
