Eamonn joined the Campaspe News as a cadet journalist in September 2014.
Born and raised in Brisbane, he graduated from University of Queensland in 2013 with a degree in journalism. Eamonn has family in rural Queensland and has always enjoyed trips to the bush so jumped at the opportunity to work in Rochy.
Eamonn has industry experience at Channel Nine, ABC television and radio, and 4ZZZ radio in Brisbane.
He loves travelling and has been lucky enough to experience more than his fair share since finishing high school thanks to a gap year in London and university exchange programs in Texas and Nottingham (UK). These opportunities had a fantastic impact on his writing and photography skills.
Distinct travel memories include being mesmerised by Machu Picchu in Peru, The Taj Mahal in India and Uluru!
I love sport, especially cricket and rugby union, however, I’m learning to appreciate the art of Aussie Rules.
