Natalie, Kye and Tynan Orr, Amanda Perkins and Jesse Stewart (front) took some time out at Corop.

Greens Lake was a little quieter than usual this Christmas, drawing about a third of its usual crowd.

Many of the visitors came from Bendigo and Shepparton and some district residents also took day trips to the lake during the holidays.

Visitors enjoyed boating activities such as jet-skiing and water-skiing.

As of yesterday, Rochester police had no reports of any trouble this year.

Last year some scuffles among revellers broke out on New Year’s Eve, which was broken up by police.
