Wyuna grass fire witnesses sought

A grassfire at Wyuna appears to have been sparked by a camp fire.

Police are appealing for witnesses after four CFA trucks were called to deal with a grassfire at Alfred Rd, Wyuna on Monday morning.

Kyabram police Senior Sergeant Peter Law said the fire appeared to have been caused after a camp fire, likely to have been started on Sunday, was left unattended.

Anyone who witnessed a campfire alight at Alfred Rd, Wyuna during the weekend is asked to phone Kyabram police on 58531777.
