Frank Scopelliti, Adam Basile, Susan Giovanolo and Barry Simmons took part as a small team within a larger group called Tatura Mudders.
All successfully completed the course and were pleased their finishing time of two hours, 50 minutes was well within their original target of three-and-a-half hours.
It is understood the course was hard and lived up to expectations, but all were able to raise a smile and celebrate their achievement at the end.
Also taking part in the event were a team of seven under the name of Wombat Mudda, a Lancaster Football Netball club-based team.
