Thieves target Salvos

Kyabram Salvation Army experiences attempted theft.

Salvation Army Captain John Roberts inspects the damage caused by an attempted burglary at the Salvation Army church on Unit St.

Heartless and cold are the words Kyabram police used to describe thieves who broke into the Kyabram Salvation Army headquarters on Unitt St.

Extensive damage was caused to the main office door after the thieves smashed the lock and forced the door open in an attempt to access the office safe.

More than $1000 worth of damage has been caused, yet the would-be burglars do not appear to have escaped with any goods.
