St Augustine’s College is holding its annual fete this Friday evening, with plenty of fun and entertainment on offer.
The college has received donations to offer as silent auction items and major raffle prizes at the fete to boost its fundraising efforts.
They include an above ground swimming pool donated by Swim Inn Pool Shop, a two-seat home sauna from the Bain family, which will be on display at the fete, and a café bar set, made and donated by Simon Fiske, for which the winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the fete.
Regular fete features will include lucky dips, raffles, student giveaways, music, food and refreshments.
Extra entertainment will be available in the form of dodgem cars, pony rides and a hot rod and racing boat display.
There will also be stalls selling cakes, plants and glow wear, plus a bottle stall with contents likely to include lollies and a variety of treats.
Donations are being sought for the plant and cake stalls.
The fete was originally scheduled to take place on November 9 last year, but it was decided to postpone the event after the community was in shock after Banksia Securities went into receivership on October 25.
All those attending are encouraged to bring picnic rugs or fold-up seating to enjoy a relaxing evening with their families.
St Augustine’s College fete will take place in the college grounds, Church St, Kyabram on Friday, March 22 from 5
The fete committee will be meeting at St Augustine’s Priory at 2.20
