Nick slick in AFL debut despite big Blues defeat

Kyabram's Nick Holman makes Blues debut.

Kyabram teen Nick Holman made his senior AFL debut for Carlton against Port Adelaide on Friday night in front of a record Adelaide Oval AFL crowd of 52505.

Unfortunately for the Kyabram premiership player, it proved to be a baptism of fire as the injury-ravaged Blues proved no match on the night for the resurgent finals bound Power side, going down 20.20 (140) to 5.7 (37).
