‘‘Of all the attractions in northern Victoria, we are the only one that has all these free assets for the visitors,’’ Mr Pope said, pointing to John Pilley Reserve.
‘‘No other attraction has a free playground like this, they don’t have free barbecues, they don’t have a free open area like this to kick the footy or play cricket.
‘‘It is an asset that is important for the general community but it’s equally as important for us to try and get more people into the community.
‘‘So it’s important that it reflects well on Kyabram.’’
