Victorian Health Minister David Davis will be in Kyabram this afternoon to see two recently completed Kyabram and District Health Service developments.

Mr Davis will cut the ribbon at 1.30pm to officially open stage four of Sheridan Nursing Home, the final stage of the care facilities redevelopment. The $2.3million project was funded through a combination of community donations and fundraising activities, a $370000 contribution from the Department of Health with the remaining $900000 being provided by KDHS. The overall Sheridan project took eight years to complete.

The minister will also officially open the new $425000 student accommodation building which welcomed its first guests earlier this month.

Mr Davis will be taken on a tour of both developments.

The student accommodation will be open for public inspection from 12.30pm today.
