Lucky Kyabram shopper to win holiday

Kyabram Chamber of Commerce is offering a chance to win a Gold Coast holiday.

Chamber of Commerce president Lou Ciavarella is dressed ready to celebrate with the winner of the chamber's big Christmas promotion.

Kyabram Chamber of Commerce is offering one lucky shopper a chance to pack their bags and enjoy a Gold Coast holiday.

The chamber’s Christmas promotion has started with a Gold Coast holiday as the first prize.

The prize includes five nights accommodation and return airfares for two people.

There is also an excellent second prize of $1000 in Kyabram cash vouchers on offer, which the Kyabram Club has donated.

Extra mystery prize draws will take place during Kyabram’s night of Christmas festivities on December 20.

To enter the draw, all you need to do is make a purchase at a participating Kyabram Chamber of Commerce business. You can then fill in a KatchyainKy Christmas promotion entry form and put it in a competition entry box at the participating business.

Kyabram Chamber of Commerce retailers will also be offering extended opening hours in the lead up to Christmas.

Extended trading hours of 9am to 3pm will operate on Saturday, December 14 and 21 and many retailers will also be open from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, December 15 and 22.

Kyabram’s Christmas festivities on December 20 will again be held at Memorial Gardens in Allan St.

The street will be closed in the vicinity of the gardens and entertainment will include a barbecue at 6pm, with gold coin donations requested that will go to a local good cause, and a visit from Santa between 6.30pm and 7pm.

There will be more children’s entertainment with a jumping castle and other activities between 6pm and 8pm, plus fairy floss and snow cones.

The Christmas draws will be made between 7.15pm and 8pm and they will be followed by Carols by Candlelight in the gardens from 8pm.

The night will end with a bang when Mr Skye Candy lights up the with a fireworks display at Kyabram Recreation Reserve at about 9.45pm.
