More than 1833 mercury vapour lights are set to be switched to energy-efficient T5 lights across Kyabram this week as part of the Watts Working Better project.

The project, which kicked off in Shepparton last week and is run by Goulburn Broken Greenhouse Alliance after receiving $2.95 million from the Australian Government, will see more than 12600 street lights changed across the Benalla, Campaspe, Greater Shepparton, Mansfield, Moira, Mitchell, Murrindindi, Strathbogie and Wangaratta shires.
