Several district CFA fire units battled to extinguish a fast-moving grass fire in Kyvalley today which threatened nearby property.
The CFA was notified of the fire on Graham Rd at 1.28pm, with a water bombing helicopter and another helicopter that acts as a scout from Bendigo assisting the effort.
Firefighters will continue to work on the fire throughout the night and will be visible to community members.
There is no threat to communities.
Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads.
