‘‘Two fire trucks from Girgarre and one each from Kyabram, Stanhope and Cooma attended the incident,’’ the spokesperson said.

Trucks from Tongala and Timmering also attended the scene to help and smoke could be seen from several kilometres away during the afternoon.
The hay bales lost in the fire are estimated to be worth $2500 to $3500.
