From Kyabram to Kenya with love

Kyabram vet's hospital bed shipment.

Kyabram Veterinary Clinic's Serena Moore sits with more than 30 hospital beds ready to be shipped to a new hospital in Kenya.


When Echuca Hospital had 35 spare hospital beds, it did not imagine they would soon be shipped halfway across the world.

However, that is exactly what will happen as part of the Bungoma Hospital project Shepparton chaplain Mark Rumble and Kyabram Veterinary Clinic’s Serena Moore are leading.

Mr Rumble and Ms Moore have been working to raise more than $250000 to build a two-storey children’s ward at the Bungoma Hospital in western Kenya after a trip to the country in 2007.
