Visitor guide for Heathcote region released
Visitors to the Heathcote region can now pick up the new visitor guide which profiles things to do and see in the area.
The 2013 Bendigo and Heathcote region official visitor guide has just been released.
City of Greater Bendigo tourism executive manager Kathryn Mackenzie said Heathcote was profiled throughout the guide with a range of things to do and key events to attend.
The guide also features local accommodation, dining, wine tours, 11 cellar doors and a map covering more than 30 wineries throughout the Heathcote wine region.
It will be distributed to local tourism operators, other visitor information centres across Victoria, Melbourne Airport and at major events throughout the year — actively promoting the region as a tourist destination.
District residents are encouraged to pick up a copy from Heathcote Visitor Centre in High St.
