Residents contribute to Anzac memorial project

Heathcote crafters have submitted 100 home-made artificial poppies, starting the drive for a contribution to the 5000 poppies project.

Heathcote residents have made 100 poppies for the Anzac centenary 5000 poppies project.

The district target is 500 by November.

Completed poppies can be dropped off at the Heathcote council offices to add to the official count and be part of a district display.

Patterns are available at the office for anyone keen to be involved. For more about the project visit
