Bronwyn is the journalist and photographer at the McIvor Times.
Bronwyn’s parents would say she was always meant to write and she started young helping her mother, who was the editor of their local community news.
She was a youth reporter for the local newspaper during high school, and at university she was the media officer for the student union and the editor of its publications.
Bronwyn relocated from Melbourne to Heathcote in 2010 where she took on the role at the McIvor Times.
One of the things she loves most about Heathcote and the district is its history, in which the McIvor Times has played a major role during the past 150 years.
Bronwyn’s favourite stories are those that help achieve a positive outcome – from helping local schools or community groups achieve much needed funding or grants, to seeing projects that have taken years of planning, frustration and hard work finally realised.
