A woman in her 40s had a lucky escape when her car flipped onto its roof after leaving the road and colliding with a fence on the Axedale-Kimbolton Rd at 8.15am on Friday.

A woman in her 40s had a lucky escape when her car flipped onto its roof after leaving the road and colliding with a fence on the Axedale-Kimbolton Rd at 8.15am on Friday.
 
Heathcote police Leading Senior Constable Jason Peers said she was hanging by her seatbelt when they arrived.
 
‘‘She walked out,’’ he said.
 
‘‘She was a little bit shaken, but didn’t appear hurt.’’
 
The woman was taken to Bendigo Hospital for observation and discharged later the same day.
