Heathcote and Axedale police are seeking information about a series of thefts from five caravans in the Lakeshore Caravan Park, Spillway Rd, Lake Eppalock.

Leading Senior Constable Jason Peers of Heathcote police said the thefts were discovered on Friday when caravan owners returned after the mid-winter shut down.

‘‘But they appear to have happened within the last week, as the damage marks were fresh,’’ he said.

Televisions, stereo equipment and alcohol were stolen.

There were attempted burglaries on several other caravans.

People with information should contact Heathcote police on 54333711, Axedale police on 54397202 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
