The local student, who is a graduate of Certificate III in Aged Care, was awarded the Finley Campus Outstanding Student of the Year Award on Monday night.
The prestigious award is presented annually to an outstanding student from the Finley Campus.
This student then represents the campus at the Institute Awards Ceremony, which recognises students from all campuses across the Riverina Institute.
Ms Willis was enrolled in Finley’s Riverina Institute of TAFE six month Certificate III and is described as a ‘‘dependable, reliable and hardworking student who, in enrolling in TAFE, made the first steps towards fulfilling her dreams of working in the Aged Care sector’’.
Ms Willis was one of seven students who were honoured with academic excellence awards at the recent graduation.
