Christian ceremony for Finley High School chaplin
A large crowd of family and friends gathered at St Mary’s Catholic Church Finley on Sunday evening, for a special ceremony.
They were there to witness Olwyn Mathers, chairperson of the Finley and District Board of Christian Education, perform the re-commissioning ceremony of Joshua Renn in his position of Chaplin and Special Religious Education teacher at Finley High School.
Josh plays an important role in the lives of young students in our community and is able to relate to the stress encountered by many in their journey of higher education.
A light supper was enjoyed in the Marian Room following the service.
