Traffic diverted after trucks collide near Elmore

Police are diverting traffic on the Midland Hwy south of Elmore following a collision between two trucks this afternoon.

Update 2.34pm: One of the truck drivers involved in today's collision was treated for shoulder and elbow injuries.

A driver in his 50s was treated at Bendigo Base Hospital this afternoon for the injuries.

The other driver was treated for shock at the scene.


12.49pm: Traffic on the Midland Hwy south of Elmore is being diverted to Elmore-Barnadown Road following a collision between two trucks this afternoon.

Police said the collision occured at around noon today about 3km south of Elmore between two trucks heading in opposite directions.

No one was injured in the collision, which saw debris from the side of both trucks scatter along the road.

Police are diverting traffic to Elmore-Barnadown Rd while waiting for a sweeper to clear up the debris.
