Mathoura's battle to keep the grand final is unlikely to be decided today.August 28, 2014 11:00pm
The continuing saga between the Picola and District Netball Football League and Mathoura Football Netball Club looks set to continue.
A magistrate has indicated he would not be able to grant a final order today regarding the league’s grand final venue.
The club had sought an injunction to keep the grand final at Mathoura after the league made the decision to move the event to Yarroweyah after a long running debate about whether Mathoura’s grounds were up to scratch.
The magistrate said he was unable to fully hear the matter given the length of submissions from the club and the league and encouraged both parties to try to reach a compromise.
