A man was burnt when his boat caught fire near Five Mile boat ramp near Moama yesterday.
A Melbourne man, 63, was burnt when the boat he was driving caught fire near Five Mile boat ramp yesterday about 1.30pm.
The man was taken to Echuca hospital and treated for burns to his arms and legs.
It is believed the fire happened when the man, who was the owner of the boat, started the vessel and fumes caused it to ignite.
According to witnesses, people on jetskis tried to help put the fire out with a fire extinguisher.
The boat was salvaged from the river late yesterday afternoon.
