Large Echuca properties to go under the hammer
More than $12 million of real estate will be auctioned tomorrow in Echuca.
Charles L King and Co First National’s Gary Wood said it was the largest offering of property he had been involved with in the past 20 years.
The auction drawcard is the former Ford dealership site at the corner of High and Leslie streets.
The site has a permit for a motel, shops and townhouses.
Other lots to be sold include residential land with plans for 150 residential lots, a motel in Echuca and a townhouse in Watson St, Echuca.
Mr Wood said the offering was not all about the ‘‘big end of town’’, with other lots to be auctioned including a mortgagee auction in Mathoura for a vacant 0.2ha lot and two marina berths.
The auction will be held at the Port of Echuca Conference Centre in High St tomorrow from 1.30pm.
