Flood grants to help Pyramid Hill
Four Pyramid Hill facilities will receive funding to help with flood recovery.
The funding comes from the Victorian Government’s Flood Recovery Community Infrastructure Fund, which will provide $181,000 to nine community projects in the Loddon Shire.
The Pyramid Hill grants went to the pool complex ($97,82.21), tennis club ($13,177.27), CERT hall ($33,249.25) and pre-school ($5800.)
The funding was announced by Member for Swan Hill Peter Walsh and Member for Northern Victoria Region Damian Drum.
Mr Walsh said community facilities were vital to the small towns and communities involved and some were unable to meet the cost of covering insurance shortfalls.
