Echuca welcomes first babies of 2012
The first two babies to be born in 2012 at the Echuca hospital were oblivious to their significance as New Year’s Day babies.

Trystan Troy Waters and Charlotte Johanna Pickles were born on January 1 weighing 3515g (7lb 12oz) and 3685g (8lb 2oz) respectively.
Echuca couple Kate and Tom Cunningham also welcomed a new arrival on New Year’s Day, Lachlan.
Lachlan was the first baby born at St John of God hospital in Bendigo, arriving at 9.45am.
