Allegations of gender discrimination have emerged from Murray Shire Council's confidential interview process for a new general manager.JESS CRAIG February 21, 2014 8:18am
Multiple sources have told the Riv that councillor Geoff Mackenzie made it clear he would be against including a female candidate in the interview process.
The comment was reportedly made in a council workshop on November 1, hosted by Blackadder Associates - a Sydney-based consulting firm.
The workshop covered the recruitment timetable and process for interviewing.
Yesterday, Cr Mackenzie said he "absolutely denied" the gender discrimination allegations.
