Woman from Mathoura charged with conspiracy to murder

A woman will appear at Deniliquin Local Court today after being refused bail for allegedly conspiring to murder her ex-partner.

Police have charged a woman from Mathoura, south of Deniliquin for allegedly conspiring to murder her ex-partner.

Operation Yaringal, consisting of Detectives from Deniliquin Local Area Command, was established to investigate a woman’s alleged involvement in the conspiracy to murder her ex-partner.

About 4.30pm yesterday, police attended an address in Mathoura and arrested a 40-year-old woman.

She was taken to Deniliquin Police Station where she was subsequently charged with conspiracy to murder.

The woman was refused bail to appear at Deniliquin Local Court today.
