Time for Christmas clock decorations

The town Christmas tree is up and locals are counting down to the big day.

Deniliquin found its festive spirit on Sunday last week, after Christmas decorations were draped from the clock on the Cressy and Napier St roundabout.

Deniliquin Lions Club and Deniliquin Council were charged with decorating the steel frame Christmas tree encompassing the iconic clock.

Lions Club member Daryl Whateley said the decorations were of a higher quality this year, which means only one roundabout will be decorated.

About six people worked on the project.
