Gulpa Pre-school will present only the best fashions at its fashion parade tomorrow.By Cass Savellis
The finest Deniliquin fashions will be on display at the Gulpa Pre-school Fashion Parade this Friday at 7pm.
Held at the Coach House, the event will showcase garments from niche[sb], Rockmans, River Kidz, Just Jeans and All We Adore.
There will be a raffle on the night with more than 30 prizes kindly donated by local businesses including vouchers for hair, travel and meals at hotels and cafes.
Prizes will be drawn in between each store’s parade.
Fundraising co-ordinators Nadia Cowley and Stacey Cameron say the aim of the night is to ‘‘think outside the square’’.
‘‘We just wanted to try something different and the town hasn’t had many fashion parades previously,’’ Nadia said.
‘‘We wanted to make it an affordable night out as well. Over 80 tickets have already sold so we’re rapt.
‘‘It’s really good for the town and lets people know what the businesses have on offer.’’
Nadia said the money raised would go towards new equipment needed at the pre-school.
‘‘So many people have been really generous.
‘‘We’d like to say thankyou to all that have donated prizes and those shops taking part in the parade.’’
Tickets for the show are available from the pre-school. Entry is $10 and supper is included with drinks at bar prices.
