Deniliquin Playgroup Association coordinator Lauren Kelly said youngsters gave the ‘thumbs up’ to the group’s new home on Sunday.

The association held an open day at the Guide Hall in Whitelock St after relocating three weeks ago from Memorial Park.

Children were able to play with toys and use the equipment while also being treated to lunch.

‘‘The kids really like the Guide Hall,’’ Lauren said.

‘‘We’ve also welcomed plenty new members (since moving).’’

Playgroup is held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, from 10am to noon.

Lauren said meetings on other days can also be arranged.
