But, thanks to a warm winter, the snow did not fall.
Mathilda is in the United State of America working as an au pair in New York. She looks after the Johnson family’s three children — Ben, Sam and Lucy.
Instead of playing in the snow during her Christmas break, she was able to get her hands on the Statue of Liberty in this clever photo.
Mathilda has enjoyed other American traditions including a Thanksgiving Macy’s Parade, and spending New Year’s Eve in Times Square watching the Big Ball drop.
