The official launch of the Murray Valley Industry Park facility, and Deniliquin Council as its trustee, will be held today.

Announcements at the launch will also include the Deni Innovation Expo 2014 date and the new MVIP and Deniliquin Council partnership.

Deniliquin Council was appointed the official trustee of the MVIP site after originally leasing the land, which was the site of the former NSW Agriculture Murray Valley Field Station.

The NSW Government offered to make council trustee of the land after a five-year, $1 a year rent agreement expired on July 3.

The takeover means council will continue to manage the facility but can now apply for funding.

Any work at the field station would only need council approval to be implemented.

The launch will start from 11am at the Todds Lane facility today. RSVPs are preferred by calling Faye Falahey on 58983040.
