After the success of the South West Arts ArtOut in the Waring Gardens on Saturday, organisers say it will be held again in 2015.

SWA regional arts development officer Juliette Winterflood said the day boasted about 20 stalls offering a ‘‘huge range’’ including paintings, sculptures, food and more.

Ms Winterflood said the event went above and beyond expectations, with hundreds of people perusing the stalls throughout the day.

ArtOut featured artworks from across the south west NSW region.

‘‘It was brilliant,’’ she said.

‘‘We had about 20 stalls and quite a few people sold out.

‘‘The day was really well received and we’re looking forward to holding it again next year.

‘‘There were plenty of people around but it was hard to tell exactly how many ... it was constant all day.

‘‘It was a really good event for SWA ... we’re planning to hold ArtOut at the Taste Coleambally Food and Farm Festival and the Tuppal Food and Fibre Festival.

‘‘We had no idea what it would be like but it was a huge success and a perfect time for it to be held.’’

Deniliquin Council, Rotary Club and the Edward River Art Society all assisted with the SWA Board to facilitate the inaugural event.
