Car crashes into oval sign

A Deniliquin youth allegedly crashed into a sign inside the Hardinge St oval boundary last Friday.

A vehicle was damaged after colliding with a sign at the Hardinge St oval last Friday.

A Deniliquin youth received an infringement notice for negligent driving after crashing a car into a large metal sign inside the Hardinge St oval boundary last Friday.

Police allege the youth was driving about 65km/h on the dirt road surrounding the oval when, about 2.40pm, the car lost traction and hit the sign. The car had to be towed.
